Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress or musician as well as playback vocalist for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister works as a Belgian research assistant who works in Leuven. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai, was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea, who began the classical piano at eight, has been called being a "geek" and wanted to be a psychiatric nurse until the 12th grade exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she joined when she was 10, was her foundation to sing and compose music. She performed as a stage performer at her school and took part in a variety of plays staged by The Madras Players, EVAM as well as other theatre companies. She served as the President of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career as an infant actress as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to take on a lesser part in the film. The actress made her Malayalam debut on film in Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in the year 2013.
