Niykee, who has had a whirlwind few years including being chosen by Snoop to sing with him on The YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee has a regular songwriting routine despite all this. The young producer is now fascinated by Niykee. She constantly checks out the most recent beats. Many end up inspiring music ideas. In just five seconds, I'm able to tell what a song is or not. Then I get an idea for the song and write it immediately. I'll sit out on my back porch with my guitar and lyrics are just a matter of time and typically it's all done in under thirty minutes. The pain of Niykee's childhood can be a constant source of inspiration as she develops as an author. It's hard to avoid the painful memories of my early years, particularly the loss of my sister. These memories are integrated into her music. The music I write is shaped by it and I am able to feel the deeper meaning underneath all of it. It's among the things that is most important to me.
