Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson is a two-time Olivier Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner, and she made her Broadway debut in Nick Payne's Constellations in the role of Jake Gyllenhaal. The most famous role she has played is Alison Lockhart, in Showtime's "The Affair" that she received a Golden Globe Award. Film credits include The Little Stranger, Dark River, I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House and Suite FranASSaise. Locke, Saving Mr. Banks, The Lone Ranger and Anna Karenina. In the Donmar Warehouse, she received Olivier Awards as Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actress, respectively to Anna Christie with Jude Law. The National Theatre Nominated her for awarding her the Olivier Award as Best Actress in Hedda Gabrieller. Wilson was a part of BBC's "Luther," nominated for eight Emmy Awards. She received BAFTA as well as Golden Globe nominations for Best Lead Actress in the BBC miniseries "Jane Eyre." Her debut was on the London stage in 2007 during the production by the National Theatre, Maxim Gorky's Philistines, and starred in the Almeida Theatre adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's Through a Glass Darkly.
