Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jameson; September 2, 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actor and film producer. In Mexico she started her career by playing the character of Teresa in the Telenovela (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she received an Ariel Award. She soon established herself in Hollywood with roles in films such as Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999). Hayek's portrayal of Frida, the painter, in Frida (2002) the film that she also directed was what was what made Hayek the first Mexican actress to win the Academy Award [6]. It also earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination, Screen Actors Guild Award nomination as well as British Academy Film Award nominations. The following years, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in action-oriented movies like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
